Beyond Self-Care and Work-Life Balance: A Lasting Solution for Personal & Professional Freedom – for Women Leaders
Learn how to incorporate life-changing practices to reduce stress, prevent burnout, re-energize your life, deepen relationships, and elevate your performance at work and beyond.
Too many ambitious, professional women “ self-care,” is just another “to do” on an ever-growing list of tasks and responsibilities.
The idea of “work-life” balance can feel even more unattainable and the phrase alone can trigger feelings of inadequacy.
But the question remains: How can busy women navigate the enormous demands of daily life, and perform to their fullest with joy, and without burnout?
There is a way, and it starts with changing the way you think.
In this session you will learn how to:
– Create time for self-care that sticks- no matter how “busy” you are
– Release the guilt and shame that can accompany your new self-care habit
– Rediscover what brings you lasting joy and connection
– Establish healthy boundaries and say “no” with confidence
– Create a work-life integration plan that refuels you physically, mentally and emotionally, every day, without struggle or strain
In 2012, I suffered complete burnout trying to run 5 businesses. Overwhelmed and exhausted, I left work one afternoon and headed to the Oregon Coast. That changed everything. In the next 18 months, I returned to the coast 52 times. As a result, I discovered a new way of living and working that healed my body, deepened my relationships, and transformed my life.
I believe that when we intentionally create space to renew and feed our spirit, we can live a larger-than-life impact that goes beyond ourselves. My mission is to help people not only know this, but live this. As a professional speaker, I empower women business leaders with self-care and gratitude practices to reduce burnout, elevate performance, and build resilience.
My passion for helping women in business is inspired by my mother’s courage and sacrifice for a better life for her children. In 1978, she led her three infant children through the jungle to board a small boat. Fleeing Communist Vietnam, we were rescued at sea as our boat sank to the bottom of the ocean.
